Net Censorship vs. Free Trade
Google, Yahoo, and others have asked U.S. officials at the World Trade Organization to challenge China’s censorship of the Internet under WTO free trade agreements. The idea comes from Columbia Prof. Tim Wu’s paper, The World Trade Law of Internet Filtering.
